The introduction of the

NMEA 2000

network system

has brought with it many

advantages such as lowering

the overall cost of installing and

conguring networks and the

ability to share power and data

on one cable.

Actisense have developed a range of products

to make the transition from NMEA 0183 to

NMEA 2000

as smooth as possible. The Actisense

Research and Development Team have created

interfaces to enable NMEA 0183

devices to

continue to be used with the new NMEA 2000

network.

Actisense products can enable bi-directional

transfer of NMEA 2000 data between a

networked device and a PC, ensuring you get

the most from your NMEA instruments.
